Is Estée Lauder Leaving Midtown?

Report says firm has hired real estate services firm to explore options.

According to a blog post on New York Real Estate news outlet The Real Deal, Estée Lauder Companies is considering a move out of its longtime HQs at the General Motors Building in New York City. ELC currently occupies nearly 300,000 square foot in the 50-story building located at 767 Fifth Avenue and was one of the earliest tenants in the midtown space. ELC also conducts business on West 23rd Street in New York City, and earlier this year leased an additional 100,000 square feet of space there....
